Nominal average pay up 7.2 percent in March

April 24, Pozirk. Belarusians’ nominal average pay before taxes amounted to 2,602 rubels (about $853) in March, rising by 7.2 percent from the February level, according to Pozirk‘s analysis of the National Statistics Committee’s (Biełstat) data.

Minsk is traditionally leading in nominal average pay with 3,545 rubels, while the Viciebsk region posted the lowest pay of 2,143 rubels.

Consumer prices rose by 0.8 percent last month.
