Rubel’s rise against US dollar, Chinese yuan continues on April 18

April 18, Pozirk. The rubel has risen to 3.059 per US dollar and 4.1341 per 10 yuan at the BCSE.
There was no trading in euros, with EUR/BYN staying at yesterday’s level of 3.5046. The rubel fell to 3.68 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (March 7–April 11), the rubel gained 0.66 percent against the greenback, 0.51 percent against the yuan and 0.54 percent against the Russian ruble, but lost 1.89 percent against the EU currency.
The Belarusian currency gained 10.25 percent against the dollar in the first quarter of 2025.
