Pakistani prime minister to arrive in Minsk today

April 10, Pozirk. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to visit Minsk for talks with Alaksandar Łukašenka scheduled for April 11, according to the press office of the Belarusian ruler.
The two leaders plan to discuss progress in implementing the agreements reached during Łukašenka’s visit to Pakistan in November 2024.
The discussion will focus on trade and economic cooperation and humanitarian ties.
The politicians intend to pay “special attention” to key global and regional issues and cooperation in international organizations.
They are expected to conclude some bilateral deals.
The Pakistani foreign ministry said that the visit “will take place between April 10 and 11.”
The delegation will include Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Punjabi Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the prime minister’s niece. She is also the daughter of Nawaz Sharif, who served three terms as prime minister of Pakistan.
Belarus and Pakistan are expected to sign “several agreements to further strengthen cooperation.”
