BySol launches fundraiser for defrauded dissident actor

(Belsat)
October 22, Pozirk. The BySol Solidarity Foundation has launched a fundraiser for dissident actor Alaksandar Ždanovič who reportedly lost €3,000 to phone scammers in Poland.
In Belarus, Ždanovič worked at a theater and hosted a children’s TV show Kałychanka (Lullaby) on a state television station.
In the fall of 2020, authorities jailed him for nine days for participating in a protest rally. The theatre fired him in 2021.
In early 2022, when police summoned him for questioning, he fled to Georgia.
In June, he moved to Warsaw.
