Łukašenka threatens West with turning defensive plans into offensive ones

August 18, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka has threatened the West with a possible offensive in an interview with the Russian television channel Rossiya.
The interview was recorded on August 15.
According to the excerpts released today, Łukašenka said that he and Vladimir Putin had longstanding defensive plans for the western sector.
“If necessary, we will turn them into offensive ones,” he added.
He warned enemies not to imagine kneeling on his and Putin’s chests.
“We see where they can deal the heaviest blow to our union and our joint group [of forces], so we are not weakening anything in the West,” he said.
He noted that Belarus had strengthened its army with “serious” Russian weapons, both conventional and nuclear ones.
